American Riviera Bank is so excited to be hosting the American Bankers Association Lights, Camera, Save! video contest again this fall! This contest is a fun and creative opportunity for teens to use their imaginations and to educate themselves and others about the value of building financial responsibility and savviness.
If you’re between 13 and 18 and ready to put your creativity to the test, then the Lights, Camera, Save! video contest is for you. Send a 30-second video to ARB about ways to be financially responsible, along with your contestant entry form, and you’re on your way to winning.
Video subjects can include any money management topics from saving, paying for college, identity theft protection, budgeting, investing and much more! Three national winners will receive awards of $10,000, $5,000 or $2,500 to fund their saving goals.
Local contest participants have a chance to win $500 or $250. The top selection will be sent to the ABA for the next level of the competition. In 2019, one of the national winners was a student from Santa Barbara, and in 2021, 2024, and 2025, one of the national finalists was also a student from Santa Barbara! See official local rules here.
